The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY

FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES

POST NO. 0997:         LECTURER

 

REQUIREMENTS:

The applicant must have a minimum of Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with an undergraduate of bachelors of pharmacy; A PhD in any of these fields will be an added advantage. A PhD holder must have a minimum of six (6) months of teaching experience while a Masters Degree holder must have a minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in institution(s) of higher learning. The applicant should have evidence of research experience with publications and/or research reports.

DUTIES:

The successful appointee will be expected to teach pharmaceutical chemistry courses in the department of pharmacy supervise students’ dissertations and engage in research and curriculum development including overseeing and developing of pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory practical sessions. She/he will also be expected to carry out community engagement. The candidate will also be expected to perform any other duties assigned to him/her by the department including administrative work.

 

TYPE OF CONTRACT:

Permanent and pensionable for locals and contract/ gratuitable for non-locals.
