REQUIREMENTS

  • The applicant must be a holder of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Administration.
  • The applicant should have a minimum of two years teaching experience with a PhD at university level.
  • Evidence of extensive record of referred and accredited publications is a requirement. Preference will be given to those who have specialised in various courses in the sub-fields of Public Administration, preferably in administrative theory and behaviour, public policy analysis and research methodology.
  • Locals with a good Master of Arts in Public Administration degree and relevant teaching experience will also be considered for the post of Lecturer. They will be expected to pursue their PhD studies in due course.

 

DUTIES

The successful appointee will be expected to teach Public Administration courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, supervise students’ projects, dissertations and theses, and engage in research and curriculum development. The appointee will also be expected to perform any other duties assigned to her/him by the Head of the Department.

 

Type of Contract:

Permanent and pensionable for locals and gratuitable for Expatriates.
