INVITATION FOR APPLICANTS FOR ADMISSION INTO A BRIDGING PROGRAMME FOR ADVANCED SUBSIDIARY (AS) LEVEL EDUCATION AT THE CHINA LESOTHO FRIENDSHIP SCHOOL IN BEREA
The China-Lesotho Friendship School, situated at Sehlabeng-sa-Thuathe in Berea, is a new Government-Owned school funded by the Governments of China and Lesotho, with the purpose of offering Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS) and Advanced Level (A-level) education for Basotho school-leavers.
Applications are therefore invited from interested candidates with LGCSE, who wish to be admitted into the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level programme, but require bridging to upgrade their admission points.
The bridging programme at the China-Lesotho School will be offered from August to December 2017. Successful learners will qualify for admission into the AS programme starting in January 2018 in the same school.
At least symbol D in all subjects in the LGCSE; higher symbol candidates will be given first preference.
How to Apply:
Application forms can be collected, filled and returned to all District Education Offices, with certified copies of LGCSE certificates or transcripts by 12:00 noon on Monday 7th August 2017.
The Tuition fees for the Bridging Programme at the China-Lesotho Friendship School will be only M500.00 per student for the period August – December 2017.
Admitted students will make their own arrangements for accommodation, transport and meals for the duration of the programme at the school.
